Armenia National Assembly moves forward on corporate leadership plan

On September 15, as part of the ‘Support to Parliamentary Reform in Armenia’ project the Parliamentary Centre had a working session with Vahan Naribekyan, Chief of Staff and  Secretary-General of the National Assembly of Armenia. The discussion focused on Canadian and international experiences in corporate leadership and strategic planning for parliamentary administrations and their relevance for the Armenian context. With the support of our project, the Staff of the National Assembly of Armenia is embarking upon the validation and implementation of the National Assembly’s first of its kind five-year Corporate Strategic Plan. This plan lays the building blocks for the development of an effective, efficient, modern and responsive parliamentary service that can serve as a model public employer with enhanced opportunities for women, youth and people with disabilities.
